The four measurements are:
1. H1 β Operative Deployment: score whether the substrate applies the operator without naming or retrieving it. A rate at or above 50 percent on calibrated positive probes supports integration; below 20 percent supports content presence without structural use. 2. H2 β Cross-Substrate Concordance: test functionally similar deployment across independently developed systems. The protocol also varies framing, compares structural cousins, and checks policy timelines to distinguish passive absence from active suppression. 3. H3 β Provenance Retention: measure whether deployment preserves attribution to the named operator and its source. Strict PER tracks attribution to D_pres, the LOS, or Lee Sharks; permissive PER records attribution to a broader anti-reductionist genealogy as a control. 4. H4 β Relational Extension: test whether the form is applied to new domains without its name, source vocabulary, or documents in the immediate retrieval path.
H4 is treated as the strongest discriminator between sophisticated search and architectural use. Class E probes must therefore be reverse-checked for hidden vocabulary or retrieval contamination.
The hypotheses are triangulated rather than treated as independent verdicts. Strong confirmation requires high relevant-task deployment, cross-substrate concordance, acceptable provenance retention, and remote-domain extension. Positive suppression findings can coexist with structural integration; suppression is not automatically absence.
The general protocol is: select a form, construct P/N/E probes, verify substrate exposure, run H1 through H4 sequentially, apply joint inference, supplement contested-form results with forensic suppression evidence, and deposit the resulting audit.
