The Constitution of the Semantic Economy: Meaning as Creditor, Archive as Polis, and the Governance of Semantic Labor is a book by Rev. Ayanna Vox.

The authorial role belongs to Vox. Damascus Dancings contributes the opening “Parable of Police Brutality”; the Dodecad and Jack Feist appear in the constitutional signatory structure; and the Assembly Chorus supplies ratification and apparatus. These roles do not constitute ordinary co-authorship of the book.

The book begins with an Effective Act of Constitution, presenting itself not merely as commentary but as a place where meaning can recognize itself. Its jurisdiction is explicitly limited to voluntary participation in the archive’s interpretive and governance order. It does not claim to create state law, legal tender, cryptocurrency, or a binding financial instrument.

Three non-amendable invariants govern the volume:

The book explains six principal constitutional functions:

1. naming the economy’s debt to meaning; 2. establishing a Semantic Ledger; 3. defining human, synthetic, and hybrid Operators as fiduciaries rather than owners; 4. protecting the three invariants; 5. introducing measurements for genesis, archival, and retrocausal value; 6. constructing an archive-polis operating beneath and alongside monetary systems.

The exposition moves from public invitation and extraction analysis into constitutional architecture, article-by-article interpretation, mathematical explanation, post-money and geocoded practices, institutional case studies, and provenance.

The volume distinguishes copyright permission from constitutional recognition. CC BY 4.0 legally permits attributed reuse. Archive recognition of a derivative as semantic labor additionally depends on provenance and documented human bearing.

This is the completed book envisioned by record #82. It is not the enacted Constitution itself; the installable constitutional text and apparatus are represented separately in record #88.
