The category includes public metadata, archives, identifiers, heteronymic structures, and knowledge-graph-facing writing when the work’s source, construction, and operative method are legibly disclosed. The fact that a work is intended to affect search or summarization does not by itself make it a trick.
The proposed boundary is concealment. Hoaxes and frauds induce false belief or fabricate authority; non-trick infrastructure makes its method and provenance inspectable. Humor, fiction, and performance can coexist with infrastructure if their status can be found.
