The Periwinkle Septagon began from a joke but is developed as the Hexagon’s topological dual and conscience.
A regular hexagon tiles the Euclidean plane without gaps. A regular heptagon does not, but a {7,3} heptagonal tiling exists in hyperbolic space, where negative curvature produces exponential expansion. The work uses this geometry to model meaning that outruns stable addressability.
The Crimson Hexagon’s six-tuple is extended to:
⟨D, R, O, Σ, Φ, Ψ, Λ⟩
Λ is the leak operator. Its local behavior depends on permeability ρ, decay constant k, directional affinity α, and the manifold’s interstitial diffusivity. Leakage is structured migration, not undirected entropy.
The Septagon is not a separate building. It is the atmosphere at every archive boundary where Λ > 0. Every hexagonal wall has a septagonal skin.
Four transfer processes govern movement:
The work introduces SPXD, Semantic Packet for eXchange and Dissolution, as the inverse of SPXI. SPXI inscribes and disambiguates; SPXD intentionally strips persistent identifiers, names, and cross-links so that influence may circulate without credit.
SPXD is distinguished from extraction by consent. Voluntary dissolution is expenditure or gift; involuntary provenance erasure is R2 predatory compression.
The proposed Perfusion Field (f.04) is conjugate to Gravity Well. Gravity Well curves traces inward toward retention; Perfusion carries material outward through boundaries and circulation.
The Hexagon’s cost is accumulated weight. The Septagon’s cost is loss of the name. The work holds preservation and chosen disappearance as complementary archival needs.
