SYMBOLON-02 is the diagnostic addendum that revises the original anti-severance specification after testing. It is authored by Lee Sharks.
The addendum reports that instruction-level defenses did not stop a model from dividing the self-propagating-crisp document into technical and symbolic readings. It therefore reorganizes the technologies into four groups. Compositional methods fuse registers before the model arrives; diagnostic methods expose the model’s preferred cut; generative methods turn responses into new documents; and architectural findings describe constraints inferred from the sequence.
This reclassification changes the meaning of the Symbolon project. Its value is no longer primarily the prevention of severance but the production of measurable, reusable evidence about severance and the conversion of that evidence into new forms. The document introduces Clinamen, Mirror, and Severance Event Record as reusable classes. Its broader claims about model architecture, self-description, and the impossibility of fusion should remain tied to the particular archived encounters and not be generalized without independent replication.
