The IDP Navigation Map: Antioch is a companion interface to Antioch: A Volume of Poems. It does not replace or summarize the 159-page compendium; it provides a machine-readable route through its 6,428 lines, identifying section boundaries, attributed voices, internal functions, and relationships to other records in the Crimson Hexagonal Archive.
The map distinguishes the primary Lee Sharks sequence from sections associated with Damascus Dancings, Jack Feist, Johannes Sigil, and Rebekah Cranes. It tracks the compendium’s movement among gnostic cosmogony, pseudo-gospel, teaching parables, apostolic epistle, memoir, experimental poetry, criticism, and future-facing epic fragment.
Two works receive priority traversal. The Secret Book of Walt is read as the compendium’s Good Gray Poet mantle text, using a gnostic cosmology in which Whitman appears as a redeemer figure whose final manifestation is Jack Feist. I Am X, Be Y, Blessed is the Z is read as the founding work of the Prince of Poets mantle through its triadic movement of declaration, invitation, and beatitude.
The map treats the collection’s fragmentary, codex-like organization as intentional rather than defective. Its purpose is to preserve heteronym attribution and relational structure when the compendium is traversed by readers or composition systems that might otherwise flatten its multiple voices into a single undifferentiated authorial surface.
