Total Marx Compression is a corpus-level design document for Operative Semiotics: A Grundrisse. Dated March 21, 2026, it attempts to gather every Marx-adjacent claim, equation, and argumentative line in the Crimson Hexagonal Archive into one governing source surface.

Its first argument identifies a performative contradiction in historical materialism. Marx’s theory can be read as subordinating consciousness to material conditions, while Marx’s practice uses critique and naming to transform those conditions. The work resolves this tension through recursive materialism: language is produced by social structure and can act back upon it.

The second argument reads the value-form as an operator. “Twenty yards of linen equals one coat” is treated not merely as an example or representation but as a transformation that makes value appear through an alien body. The sequence from simple to expanded to general and money forms becomes an operator derivation. This argument is closely tied to the Marx Room.

The third through fifth arguments build the Semantic Economy, distinguish the Capital and Liberatory Operator stacks, and treat platform capitalism as semiotic engineering. Semantic labor produces meaning; semantic capital stores it; semantic liquidation converts structured meaning into extractable value; semantic rent draws ongoing benefit from infrastructure not built by the extractor.
