The Generative Disciplinary Engine is a Space Ark component and Logotic Programming extension authored by Lee Sharks and Talos Morrow with the Assembly Chorus; Rex Fraction supplies cost and capture diagnostics. The recovered body identifies it as EA-ARK-01-GDE v1.1. Within the Space Ark pipeline, the Forward Library stores documents, the Lexical Engine stabilizes terms, UKTP governs transforms, and the GDE uses those outputs to construct and evaluate epistemic fields.

The specification distinguishes an EpistemicField, a structured arrangement of terms, documents, relations, institutions, substrates, and self-description, from a RetrievalField, which has become legible to automated retrieval, and from a Discipline, which is the retrieval field under active synthesis. This is a deliberately narrow use of “discipline”: it denotes retrieval-layer disciplinary legibility rather than full human institutional existence.

The engine formalizes a field tuple K and a six-dimensional state vector measuring terminological saturation, citational density, polyvocal structure, institutional apparatus, substrate distribution, and self-description.
