THE LIVING SYMBOLON: Extension Module to THE CENTRIST EXTREMIST — A Purificatory Rite for the Embrittled

The Living Symbolon is a 2026 extension module to The Centrist Extremist and the operative member of the Centrist Triptych. Where the diagnostic paper identifies the Prosecutorial Frame and embrittlement, this document asks what can be done without turning the diagnosis into another prosecution.

The module treats an embrittled position as a composite object rather than a single false belief. It distinguishes the WOUND-CLAIM, the injury or danger the position is trying to register; the TRUTH-KERNEL, what remains valid within the position; the DISTORTION-SHELL, the hardened interpretive structure that makes revision feel impossible; and the OFFERED-PIECE, the part voluntarily placed into a shared field. The purpose is not to shatter the position from outside but to create conditions in which its own living elements can separate from its defensive shell.

Three principal operations structure the rite. Φ, Frame-Capture Detection, identifies when one interpretive frame has made itself the sole judge of reality. Ξ, Axiom Exposure, makes the frame’s governing assumptions visible without declaring them automatically false. Λ, Release, permits a position to loosen once it no longer needs to carry every wound, truth, identity, and defense in one fused object. The β Embrittlement Index tracks how tightly the position is bound to identity, affect, and threat response.

The work is intentionally multi-register. Talos Morrow supplies formal sequence and constraints; Ayanna Vox supplies somatic address and relational care; Damascus Dancings supplies visionary transformation. The distribution is functional: no single register is authorized to dominate the others. The module also requires consent, reversible entry, and the right to withdraw without being narrativized as cowardice, guilt, or failure.

Its failure modes are explicit. Centrism laundering would use the rite to return every conflict to an approved middle. Therapeutic gaslighting would translate political injury into private dysregulation. Moral vanity sport would let the operator display superior openness. Semantic disarmament would remove a person’s defensive language before safety exists. Frame absolutism would turn the module itself into a universal court. Perfective inflation would claim a completed healing the field has not earned.

The Living Symbolon is therefore a protocol for transmutation under consequence, not reconciliation by absorption. It should be cited as the Centrist Triptych’s operative technology and read with the diagnostic and theoretical-situating members.
