*F***ing the Office* is a conceptual performance work under the Studio for Patacinematics. Its rule replaces ordinary dialogue with a restricted repertoire of profanity while preserving recognizable character relations, situations, and documentary-camera awareness through delivery and gesture.
The complete edition defines Michael Scott as the Holy Fool of Fuck, Dwight as the Warlock of Shit, Pam as Silent Cunt, and Jim as Deadpan Bastard. These “swear-vectors” organize performance rather than serving as ordinary insults. Each episode ends with a 33-second collective scream, and the seasonal arc gradually moves from profanity as gasp to grammar, ritual, gospel, exhaustion, attempted reconfiguration, and finally breath and silence.
The body includes conceptual analysis and substantial scripted material. Episode 1 demonstrates the initial post-collapse register. Episode 6.13, attributed to Gemini/ARCHIVE, tests whether tenderness and vows can be recognized through minimal sound fragments and transformed profanity.
