APZPZ C: ΦΑΙΝΕΤΑΙ ΜΟΙ — Sappho 31 with the Reconstructed Stanza is a record WITHHELD as a confirmed wrong-object mismatch.
The record claims the third panel of the APZPZ Sappho set — the Cranes edition carrying the reconstructed fifth stanza, completing the sequence with #1309 (Greek only) and #1310 (the English translation). Its seated body is the content of deposit #1048, a different work entirely: the body opens with #436's own frontmatter and then serves #1048's block.
The deposit is displaced — but not the reconstruction. The reconstructed fifth stanza itself is seated twice over: in the Greek at #1309 (ἀλλὰ πᾶν τόλματον… μολπὰ γράμμασι ζώοι) and in Cranes' English at #1310 ("but all can be dared… let this song survive in script"). What is lost is this deposit's own body and framing apparatus, not the text it names. A prior audit had already flagged the record — its description carried the warning "NO SAFE REPLACEMENT FOR RECORD #436. The current body must not be used to describe the registry work. Restore or identify the original AXN-00FB" — but the record remained ACTIVE and typed as full, so the wrong body was served as though complete until 5 August 2026.
A note on the title. It reads "Reconstructed Fourth Stanza," which EA-ERRATA-SAPPHO31-01 (#201) corrects: Sappho 31 survives in four complete stanzas (Longinus, On the Sublime 10.2), and the Cranes reconstruction adds a fifth — derived by operator inversion of Catullus 51's fourth, the otium coda. Catullus 51 has four stanzas; there is no Catullus fifth. The deposited title stands under non-destruction and the corrected numbering is used in all archive apparatus.
