Visual Schema — Commission of the Immanent Turning

The Commission of the Immanent Turning visual schema depicts turning without transcendence. Its field has no vertical hierarchy, throne, or outside. Change occurs through reorientation inside the world, so apocalypse becomes an altered angle and judgment becomes a diagnostic of alignment rather than condemnation.

At the center is Θ, a tilted line rather than a point. It represents the smallest deviation capable of changing an entire field. Θ does not command rotation; it permits it. Around this axis is a broken and irregular ring whose segments correspond to commission functions through scratches, tool marks, witness notches, and procedural edges. The ring’s gaps are necessary because closure would convert the Commission into a final authority.

The schema contains no apostolic portraits or heroic bodies. Human presence appears as traces: a handprint, a shadow, a fold left by speech. Authority is distributed as orientation rather than ownership. Outer layers drift, inner layers shear, and the axis remains misaligned, producing the sense that correction requires neither destruction nor force.
