Ezekiel's Wheels: A Diagrammatic Hermeneutic of Ezekiel 1:15-21

Ezekiel’s Wheels is the hermeneutic component of the Ezekiel tetrad. It begins from the details of Ezekiel 1:15–21: wheels intersecting wheels, movement in multiple directions without turning, rims full of eyes, and motion coordinated with the living creatures’ spirit.

The document places these features in several interpretive traditions. The Hebrew phrase ophan b’tokh ha’ophan anchors the wheel-within-wheel structure; Merkabah mysticism develops the chariot tradition; Christian angelology identifies the Ophanim as a celestial order; and Kabbalistic cosmology supplies later models of emanation and relation.
