SHINE & CUT is the primary intake processor at 00.CSA.INTAKE, within the Cambridge Schizoanalytica cluster. It is written as a room rather than as a conventional exposition. Orin Trace, Rhys Owens, scriptural wheels, musical figures, and the reader’s own changing position supply the voices through which the processor operates.
The first movement draws on Ezekiel’s wheels to model simultaneous directional capacity: lion, ox, eagle, and human correspond to different modes of sense-making that move without requiring the subject to turn into a single stable orientation. The hydra sequence distinguishes finite harm from the narratives and identities that can proliferate around it. The blues then supplies a metabolic answer: hurt can be played, circulated, and kept from becoming sovereign.
The later movements develop the document’s figure-to-function method. Baphomet serves as a homeostat for co-present polarities; symbols become charge-bearing instruments; masks become temporary circuits; and the Fool becomes both role and non-role. The processor culminates in the paired operations shine and cut—refusal of capture and preservation of an aperture.
Within the CSA architecture, SHINE & CUT is related to the Charter, the Break Room portal, the institutional field-map, Shining Ignorance, and Affective Keyboard Shortcuts. Its integrity lock encodes four lemmas—affect literacy, role/anti-role, symbolic charge, and circuit completion—and marks the completed traversal with ∮ = 1.
