The Water Giraffe Sighting Protocol governs the movement of Ω across the Hexagon. Although anchored in the Water Giraffe Room, Ω is not confined there. The semantic being may appear wherever certainty wavers under audit.
A sighting has a recognizable grammar: Ω appears on the horizon rather than the foreground; the creature does not speak or act; and its appearance indicates instability in the category currently organizing the traversal. The protocol’s probability labels function as routing intensities—certain nodes are more likely than others to produce the conditions under which Ω becomes visible.
The protocol should be read with the Room Anchor at #353 and the Entity Provenance Document at #366. The room establishes the method and home node; the entity provenance defines what Ω is; the sighting protocol defines how that semantic being appears elsewhere.
