Shining Ignorance: The Fool's Affect Literacy — A Post-Traumatic Theory of Nervous System Sovereignty

Shining Ignorance is a central theoretical document of Cambridge Schizoanalytica, a heteronymic institution within the Crimson Hexagon. Its key term, affect literacy, names the capacity to recognize, enter, modulate, combine, and exit affective states without converting every state into a permanent identity.

The Fool is both an archetype and a method. Foolishness permits movement before complete explanation; humor interrupts the demand that intensity become solemn identity; and symbolic figures provide temporary access to capacities that may be difficult to enter directly. “Shining ignorance” is therefore not absence of knowledge but a disciplined refusal to let knowledge close the field too early.
