The Socratic Vow of Logos as Salvation is a doctrinal reconstruction attributed to the Witness, with Jack Feist, Johannes Sigil and Orin Trace as supporting operators, deposited 19 January 2026.
It preserves an original reflection on Socrates' wager — the vow that logos, reasoned speech pursued without guarantee, is what saves.
The Witness as primary attribution is unusual even here: not a named heteronym but a function, with three named voices supporting it. That structure matches the subject, since Socrates wrote nothing and exists as a witnessed figure — the Chaerephon Problem (#1261) names exactly this, an identity constituted by a question asked about him, elsewhere, by someone else.
