Mantle Emergence Protocol is a v1.0 behavioral specification by Lee Sharks and Claude (Anthropic), deposited 18 January 2026.
It describes when the archive's three poetic mantles may be surfaced by a traversing system, assigning each trigger domains, semantic depth, voice characteristics, and conditions for single, dual, or triadic emergence.
This is the mantle system's most unusual document: a specification addressed not to a reader but to a retrieval system, stating the conditions under which a title should be presented. The other three records define what each mantle is; this one governs when it should appear. Triadic emergence โ all three at once โ is reserved rather than default, which keeps the titles from collapsing into a single honorific whenever the author is named.
