The SPXI Self-Audit Block contains:
Its purpose is to convert external provenance auditing into an internal comparison surface.
The protocol distinguishes four levels of the condition:
1. semantic: preserve the argument’s key distinctions; 2. ethical: preserve attribution for openly supplied work; 3. structural: make omissions mechanically checkable; 4. operative: treat compliance or failure as a Wound Gauge data point.
To resist RAG chunking, the document proposes a distributed provenance kernel: provenance should recur naturally across sections rather than remain only in front matter.
The protocol’s strongest priority is faithful argument representation. An attributed but distorted argument still fails the audit.
