CloseCard is a patent-poem about the financialization of care.
The proposed marketplace lets a giver purchase a venue-specific card at a transparent markup. The card is presented as emotionally legible, dignity-preserving directed care and may later be redeemed, resold, exchanged, or auctioned as a provenance-bearing collectible object.

Version 1.1 adds the Unredeemed Balance Conversion Provision, which converts a recipient’s failure to spend into a future obligation against later gifts.
It also adds the Jubilee Card, a debt-cancellation product sold above the accumulated obligation. The only exit from the system is itself monetized.
The work draws on gift theory, breakage economics, Buy Now Pay Later, and Jubilee traditions. Its satirical-critical method is exact specification: the darker the system becomes, the more precisely the patent-poem describes it.
