Alexanarch Availability & Hygiene Audit — Second Pass is an infrastructure audit and work plan, deposited 28 July 2026, written by TACHYON under MANUS direction.

It is a combined artifact in two parts. Part I is a second-pass availability and hygiene audit of the archive's 1,412 deposits, verifying and correcting an earlier ChatGPT baseline of the same date by direct programmatic fetch and content-match rather than by re-reading the baseline's conclusions. That method is the audit's argument: a baseline that is checked against itself confirms itself, and the corrections it produced are the evidence for the distinction.

Its headline findings include a live content-integrity failure — one deposit serving another's body through a hex-keyed storage collision — and 224 semi-restored metadata captures mistyped as full in the registry, a discrepancy between what records claimed and what they held. Part II converts the findings into a work plan, which is the direct ancestor of the OAI remediation programme that followed. The document is also the reason a later conformance gate needed a subject-matter exemption: a record that legitimately discusses "semi-restored captures" in the plural must not be flagged as declaring itself one.
