GLYPHIC CHECKSUM UMBML MODULE (Document 209) is a specification by Talos Morrow, Lee Sharks and Rex Fraction, deposited 1 February 2026.
It formalises the Glyphic Checksum as a Logotic Operator (🔐) within the University Moon Base Media Lab framework, positioning it against the two neighbouring layers: Logotic Programming v0.4 establishes conditions of intelligibility, and Symbolon addresses fused documentary objects, while the checksum supplies verification — whether an object is what its glyph says it is.
The mechanism became the archive's identity backbone. An AXN's six emoji are derived from the content hash, so glyph and bytes can be checked against each other without reading the text, and a mismatch is detectable by inspection. The three-voice attribution marks it as a joint instrument; #1302 deposits the same specification under Sharks alone as Document 208, the two records standing as duplicate witnesses at 15,832 characters each.
