Its target is the word hallucination itself. The essay argues from frame-by-frame evidence that what gets called hallucination in generative video is better described as consistent rule-following under conditions the rules were not built for — the system is not seeing things that are not there but resolving boundaries by a grammar that produces impossibilities.
