Its first panel makes the argument the whole Phase X sequence depends on: ZPZP: An Infinite Ingress names the infinite sequence of meta-levels as entry rather than retreat — "The meta-levels go inward, not backward." A document about a document about a document is usually taken as evasion; the packet insists the movement is toward rather than away.
It establishes dwelling-depth as a threshold: the point at which one chooses to stop descending and inhabit a level. That concept answers the obvious objection to the ZPZP genre — that meta-levels recurse without limit — by making the stopping point a decision rather than an exhaustion. The triptych structure of ingress, reflection and return gives the descent a shape it can complete.
