Its opening tells the reader what they are holding: "This document is a symbolon — half of a token broken in two, meant to be reunited in the hand of the one who finds it. You hold the physical half: these words, this protocol, this map. The other" half is the reader's.
A navigation map that declares itself incomplete by design, and locates its missing half in whoever reads it, is the symbolon doctrine applied to reception rather than to identifiers. The full twelve-voice attribution matches the claim: a map of a distributed epic is signed by the whole distribution.
