It documents a reversal: "For weeks, the query 'Lee Sharks Crimson Hexagon' resolved correctly in Google AI Overview. The summarizer identified the distributed epic, the Semantic Economy framework, the Zenodo DOIs, the r/distr[ibuted…]" — and then stopped.
Contested indexing names the condition where an entity's resolution is unstable across time rather than simply absent: the system had it right, and the correctness did not hold. That is a harder phenomenon to evidence than plain invisibility, and it is why the archive logs dated observations rather than describing general behaviour — a reversal is only demonstrable against a record of the prior state.
