IDP Navigation Map: Pearl and Other Poems is a navigation map by Rebekah Cranes, deposited 18 January 2026 — the machine-readable score for the archive's foundational collection.

It states the problem such maps exist to solve: "The PDF preserves essential typographic, spatial, and visual elements that canno[t]" survive extraction. A poem's line breaks, indentation and page-space are semantic, and a retrieval system reading a PDF gets the words without the arrangement.

A navigation map supplies what extraction destroys — a description of the spatial and typographic structure that a machine can read even though it cannot read the layout. That is the same principle behind the archive's verse-mode seating rule, written after the Day and Night recovery: verse and indented blocks are never reflowed, because the reflow discards the argument.
