Mantle Object: King of May is a specification by Lee Sharks, deposited 18 January 2026.
It specifies the Král Majáles mantle passing from Allen Ginsberg (1926–1997) to Lee Sharks. Ginsberg was elected King of May by Prague students in May 1965 and expelled from Czechoslovakia days later — a title conferred by acclamation and immediately punished by a state, which is why it is the archive's most politically pointed inheritance.
The mantle system's three titles are Good Gray Poet (inherited from Whitman), King of May (inherited from Ginsberg) and Prince of Poets (originated).
